Was my Greek family living in Turkey at the end of the 19th century?

How/why did they leave Turkey?

Why did they leave for France rather than embark to the US like many others?

How did my grand-father and grand-mother meet?

Why did my grand-mother abandon my mother in an orphanage and not her sister? 

 

The collective traumas, the family stories, the joy, the pain, the weddings and separation, the life of people is what makes us, and what makes me the mother of Alfie...
